Press-release Marvel Series - Iron Man: Memorigin Launches Brand New Marvel Series Tourbillon Watches Fight as one.

[Hong Kong news 10/7/2020] Superheroes, they fight for justice and have conquered the hearts of the young and old around the world with their charm. Over the last few years, Hong Kong-based tourbillon watchmaker Memorigin has been proud to create a number of superhero-themed timepieces catered specifically to fans of the genre.

In 2015, the brand collaborated with Marvel for the first time to offer critically acclaimed tourbillon pieces based on Iron Man (Mark 45) and Captain America from Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron released in 2015. This year, Memorigin is teaming up with Marvel again to launch three Marvel-themed watches, based on Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man.

Crafted in stainless steel, the case received the electroplating treatment and is presented in its namesake character’s signature colors - red and yellow gold. The Iron Man Tourbillon dial’s design drew inspiration from the moment when Iron Man’s chest plate opens up, exposing the watch’s movement to evoke the mechanical underpinnings of the character’s armour. The bezel is engraved with the words “Tony Stark” and his defining attribute - “The Genius”. Memorigin has always been very attentive to details. Illuminating night paint is added to the eyes and the reactor of Iron Man so that his heroic and valiant look can still be seen in the dark.

The dial is accessorized with Iron Man’s iconic Arc Reactor to inject life into the timepiece. The arc reactor is positioned at the 9 o’clock position and doubles as the power reserve indicator. A night and day indicator is featured at the 3 o’clock position, stamped with the phrase “Armor Up”. Other cool details include the Avengers logo on the crown, as well as Iron Man’s mask on the stainless steel clasp. With adjustable stainless steel bracelet, it brings more convenience to users.
