Press-Release MONOPOLY: (Hong Kong news, 1st April 2020) The world-renowned board game, MONOPOLY, opened its first MONOPOLY-themed attraction in the world, MONOPOLY DREAMS ™, at the Peak Galleria last year, igniting the popular craze of visiting. To celebrate its 85th anniversary this year, MONOPOLY has partnered up with the Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, Memorigin to launch the limited edition of MONOPOLY tourbillon. Many classical elements of the game are presented in the wrist watch.

To align with the theme of MONOPOLY, the noble rose-gold is used as the main color tone for the watch. 18 pieces of diamond are embedded on the MONOPOLY logo located at 12 o’clock position to add more glitter. As the dial design is inspired by the board, the indices are separated by the lands and decorated with the MONOPOLY ‘pieces’, including the cat, the battleship, the rubber duck, the dragon, the top hat, the Scottie dog, the penguin, the racing car, and the boots. It resembles the gaming experience and will surely lead you to recalling your best MONOPOLY memories.

The name of the themed-attraction, MONOPOLY DREAMS, is carved on the window of the day / night indicator at 3 o’clock position so that clues of the game are found everywhere on the watch. The power reserve indicator is located at 9 o’clock position. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 times per hour, giving the highest stability. With the twin mainspring barrel and 80 hours of power reserve, the watch is a perfect all-rounder.
